A diverse job with five different elements including: An exterior repaint
(including all five doors), interior painting, pressure washing the roof
to remove moss buildup, deck restoration and staining, and wooden floor
replacement. Here's the details:
1. EXTERIOR REPAINT. The entire home was pressure washed.
Extensive scraping and spot priming was needed on the south and western
sides to restore siding. All windows and door jams were caulked thoroughly,
and then the home was painted using Rodda's Horizon low VOC paint.
2. PRESSURE WASHING THE ROOF. Moss buildup was rampent
on the north and eastern slopes. Gutters were cleaned and debries removd.
3. DECK RESTORATION. Deterioration and massive algae
buildup had created a slick, unsafe surface. The deck was first pressure
washed to remove a majority of the algae buildup, then a PH balanced Stripe
& Brite system was used for deep cleaning, and third, two coats of
Timberpro's transparent stain was applied for complete restoration.
4. INTERIOR PAINTING. Several dents and scrapes on a
basement wall were patched due to a tight fitting couch, then the entire
wall was repainted for a cohesive appearance. Addtionally a walk-in closest
was unfinished, so all walls were hand sanded, corners caulked, primed,
then painted.
5. FLOOR REPAIR. Two areas 1-2 sq. ft. had discolored
the hardwoods. New floor to match was purchased, installed, stained, and
sealed.
